Bar 71 has become a hit- Fabulous DJ & Music. It is not a Ballroom dance- it is mostly Swing (East & West coast) lots of cha-cha & Hustle. They throw in a few Salsa, Waltz, & Fox Trot. Ed Amrein (The DJ) has a book with thousands of songs- he takes requests & plays them- Happily) You wont be disappointed if you come out & dance. The male/female ration has been almost even every week. Every one asks everyone to dance here- you wont just sit. Tonight they have a Cha-Cha lesson by an Arthur Murray teacher starting at 7PM - The cost of the lesson is $5.00 Dancing is free from 8-11PM. The floor is larger than most places. Put on a smile & your dance shoes- You will be glad you did. They have a great menu and serve till midnight. The bar opens at 3PM - come have dinner. The waitresses were kind and attentive. The place is clean and neat. Free lighted parking lot. Any of you who used to love Autto's will feel familiar and comfortable here. . They have a fabulous bands playing there on Fridays & Saturday. Directions: It is located off of I-71 exit 19 (Fields Ertel Rd) Turn right off the exit (if you are heading north) on to Mason Montgomery Rd - Take your second Right onto Governors Hill Drive - 2nd driveway is BAR 71. You will be able to see it from the Highway as you are exiting. It is near DSW shoes & a motel I will be there tonight - come early and eat - there is a "Happy Hour" from 3-7PM.
